Where your host finds you
At Terminal 2 of Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. The meeting point is flexible and can be agreed with your host after booking, which is unusual and useful if your terminal changes. From there you walk to the Airport MRT station beneath the terminal and take the express in.

No, and that is the whole design. Your host meets you at Terminal 2, rides the Airport MRT express into the city with you, and the day is spent on foot with metro or taxi hops if you want them. You are returned to the express platform at the end.
